Zeus was not the easiest dog to live with. He was high energy and was not too friendly to new people. Due to my not training him properly he was often difficult to walk - pulling on the leash and a few times knocking me down when he was younger. He mellowed some as he got older. On the other hand, he never took offense or acted cowed if you accidentally stumbled over him. He gave lots and lots of kisses to his family. He loved just being with us. Though he was a leash puller he was the best at standing still while I took a picture of something. And he didn't pull at street corners - I at least taught him "wait" there. He almost always came when he was called. When I took him someplace where he could run he always went to the car when he was told. He would run to it and circle it until I got there and jump right in when I opened the door. He was a happy and exuberant dog. We miss him.
Zeus and Sophie January 2009, after a run at the park. I used this on my 2009 Christmas cards.
Young Zeus and Spirit playing tug-of-war with a bathmat.
(No, they weren't supposed to .... I guess I needed a new mat anyway.)

There must be something very interesting out there!
